Investor Q&A – Melissa Lennartz-Walker

We caught up with with Gower Regeneration Investor Melissa Lennartz-Walker and asked her a few questions about what makes her tick and why she chose to invest in our community-solar share offer. Here’s what she had to say:

What do you do for a living?
I work as a Policy Officer for a Research Council. I’m interested in the interaction between science and society and would like to think that professionally this means enabling the best science to lead progress.

Do you have hobbies or interests?
I’m a hobby-entomologist, outdoors as much as i possibly can! If these two can be combined with traveling, that’s my paradise.

What did you decide to invest in Gower Regeneration?
I wanted to invest in a project that aligns with my values and ethics but makes economic sense, and benefits the local community. The Gower Regeneration project ticks all these boxes.

What would you say to someone interested in investing in a similar project?
Go for it ! Unlike other investment you not only get to participate financially but can actively get involved and see what your shares are helping to achieve.
