Simon Cox, Swansea born and bred, shares some of the past, present and future and tells us why he invested in Gower Regeneration:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nI work as a HR manager for Invacare a manufacturing company based in Pencoed. I have spent more than 30 years in HR and I am pleased to say that for most of my career, I have been based in Wales. I am a Swansea boy by birth and have lived in Three Crosses for 17 years with my wife Cath who is a primary school teacher and we have 3 children at various stages \u2013 all educated in Ysgol Gyfyn Gwyr \u2013 Rhydian graduated in Environmental Science from Aberystwyth Uni, Carys 2nd year in Exeter Uni studying Biology and Iwan embarking on GCSEs.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am a proud Welshman and feel privileged to live on Gower\u2026\u201d
\n\u201cI am a keen runner having completed 10 marathons since the age of 40 and more recently a cyclist (yes a Mamil!) and hence spend a lot of time out on Gower roads and beaches trying to keep\/get fit. Once a month I volunteer with the National Trust Saturday group \u2013 a great bunch of people trying to do our bit to help conserve the place we love and it\u2019s also a fantastic antidote to sitting in an office all week! I am a proud Welshman and feel privileged to live on Gower and whilst I have seen lots of beautiful places around the world none compare to what we have here and I hope it stays that way.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2026if I can do a little bit for renewable energy on my door-step then so much the better!\u201d<\/strong>
\nI am excited by this project, primarily as it is an investment in our future and if I can do a little bit for renewable energy on my door-step then so much the better!
